Tabletop Roleplaying Game

In Eoris you play three very different games depending on which Character Type you choose. Each Character type comes with a very different gaming style. Not only is setting altered by the social origin of the Character, but also the main conflict is put into perspective as Players choose and explore the different stand points regarding the big questions in life. But that's not all. The system mechanics also change, albeit it slightly to offer a differnt way to see "power" and to handle the magic of the world. 

The 3 Character Types are Xylen, Sil and Kalei.

Xylen are ordinary creatures. But in Eoris you play as an "ordinary" being  who has been blessed with the power to see the Waves of Existence and re-mould reality at will. 

          These special Xylen, known as Contacts, have the capacity to wield the powers that make everything tick in the world of Eoris. Every single "machine" in this world uses the same power, but whilst common men must use special devices to make use of this most advanced technology, Contacts are the device itself. They may use this "magic" freely and thus have a connection to the world others see only in Spirits. 

          Contacts also have an Eko, a "soul pet"; the form of their soul projected into physical existence. These Eko are an extension of the Xylen and help them in every way they can. Confrontations between Eko and their Contacts are rare. However, they may happen when the mind of the Xylen is torn by unresolved tensions, a broken or traumatized mind, indecision etc.

Sil are also known as God's free Spirits. They are a part of God as much as anything else, but they have acquired absolute independence from her. The first Sil to exist were also the first beings to accompany God in her creation. They were four Sil children who later mixed with a species of Xylen that evolved slowly through time. 

          Thus the four Sil created four distinct Sil dynasties that have existed since before civilisation, accompanying Xylen species in their societies and their histories. As semi-deities, Sil have a direct relation to God, feeling her at every waking moment as we feel time and space, but being free from her completely. 

          The Sil share the "Aspects of God", ten special characteristics of God that grant them incredible power over the world. Because each Sil bears a different combination of these Ten Aspects, they see the world and God differently. In this time of God's latent destruction, the Sil are confronted by their desire to live or to follow their God's Celestial Mandate and must battle their own families, and the Xylen which whom they have shared their lives so far in order to prevail.

Kalei stand as a fragment of God's unconscious mind that exists as living beings in a world known as the White Ring. They live much like any animal does in our planet, following their own cycles and instincts. When God unconsciously proclaims her will to die it is them who are charged with the duty to fulfill the task at all costs. 

          The Kalei are different from all others in that they are not individuals but fragments of a single mind known as Seelaris. Kalei do not have free will and always act in the interest of Seelaris, their collective mind. However, like neurons, they respond independently acting and reacting on their own benefit, sometimes even confronting each other.

          Their powers depend on the type of Kalei they are. There are five different Kalei, one for each different aspect of "Magic" there is in the world of Eoris (aid, destruction, psionic, manipulation, and Time/space. The amount of Years the Kalei have spent "awake" upon Planet Eoris determines the level of their incredible power. Elder Kalei that have awakened all of their powers are a threat even powerful kingdoms may fear.
